The last thing the media had time to cover was that pop sensation Ariana Grande had just publicly apologized to Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, after a legendary TV personality outburst over what transpired supposedly decades ago at Knott's Scary Farm. She apparently spurned an opportunity for a photograph with Elvira's friends and family when she was approached.

Elvira said during the show that when Ariana visited one of her performances, accompanied by about 20 guests, she first demanded to take pictures with her love ones, but when asked by Elvira, "Let me take a photo with you," Ariana declined and said, "No, I don't really do that," after which she left the place. After some time, the incidence was tweeted again, and people started calling out to both sides saying they are right in this matter or not.

Ariana took to the comments, after backlash, clarifying the situation by saying she was disappointed by Elvira's comments, as she had anxiety then and didn't remember clearly. She apologized for offensive behavior, adding Elvira is the "Queen of Halloween," and she has always been so kind to her family.
