Cardi B Hospitalized Due To 'Medical Emergency' Cancels ONE Musicfest Performance

In October 23, Cardi B shared to fans the news that she has indeed been hospitalized due to "a medical emergency," one that will make her postpone her performance at ONE Musicfest this weekend. Cardi, 32 years old said on X (the former Twitter): "So sad to share this. I've been in the hospital recovering. and cannot perform at ONE Music Fest."

She was not too pleased as she could not make it to contact any of her fans. "Going to be back better and stronger soon." She wouldn't say anything more about that; however, in August she wrote of having sustained a serious tear of one of her major ligaments resulting from what she described as a "freak accident," in which her left leg struck something near her pelvis causing severe contractions followed by several days in a body cast.

This comes a few weeks after Cardi had personal turmoil, such as a public split with husband Offset. Cardi and Offset share three children. Cardi filed for divorce last July. In a string of since-deleted posts, she expressed frustrations against Offset, calling him a "narcissistic piece of s—."

Cardi attended Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York days before admission to the hospital and celebrated her 32nd birthday. Fans are rallying behind her, offering all the well-wishes needed for a speedy recovery.
