Pop sensation One Direction star Liam Payne's father Geoff Payne joins forces with police in Argentina as they probe into the tragic death of his son, who suffered fatal injuries from falling off the third floor of a hotel room at his Buenos Aires accommodation. Pop singer, Liam Payne was reportedly involved in a bad fall on 16th October 2024 in the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires after falling from the third floor of his hotel room balcony, at an age of 31.

Geoff arrived in Argentina two days after the incident and said he is ready to cooperate fully with this investigation: 'I want to know what took place.' As published by the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office press release, Geoff is ready to testify, hoping to tell the authorities anything that could help reconstruct events before his son's death.
